Competition Law in Sport

Competition law is playing an increasingly significant role in sport. The rules and decisions of governing bodies, the organisation and authorisation of competitions, eligibility requirements and commercial arrangements can all give rise to complex competition law issues affecting athletes, clubs and sporting organisations.

These cases require specialist counsel who understands both competition law and the particular legal and regulatory framework of sport.  Bev brings experience at the intersection of these two fields, having published on competition law in sport, advised professional sports organisations, and worked on competition damages matters arising in the sports sector. She is also the Founder of the European League of Sports Antitrust, an organisation dedicated to the intersection of sport and competition law.​​
